Mark's career began in audio for TV, but his goal since the age of five was always audio for games. He finally made the jump after working on a few mods, and landed his first commercial projects with Bionicle Heroes and Tony Hawk's Project 8. Since then he has had a hand in Project Gotham Racing 4, The Club, Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway, Borderlands and more. Currently, he is working on several unannounced titles for multiple platforms.
Though Mark is wise in the ways of sound design, he is also an implementation ninja with an obsession for audio system design and integration. Working with various audio engines, both licensed and proprietary, he has been fearless in his pursuit of tightly integrated audio. This has caused him to earn the love and adoration of programmers the world over* who are tired of audio people asking them for help.
Mark resides in the Dallas area with his far cuter half and their two dogs, Essie and Kichiro.
* "the world over" is defined as development companies with which Mark has worked and mailing lists that he is a member of. I mean, seriously, he may be a cool sound designer, but he's not a worldwide celebrity. Yet.
